He has a large area on a protea farm that is used for bush camping. You need to be pretty self-sufficient... his place is off grid and only has tank water. Showers at the sailing club. It's about 5 min drive down a bush track/driveway from the ferry.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO NEXT!
Get excited – it’s a chance to sail in a larger Wētā fleet that you usually do. There were 19 Wētās at the 2021/22 Weta Nationals despite COVID restrictions.
Join AWCA or renew your AWCA membership online here (go on, it’s only $50 and the class promotes Wētās all over Australia… they’re even putting up the trophies!)
Get ready to meet a bunch of enthusiastic Wētā sailors who are just as pleased with their boats as you are! Even some of the class stalwarts from interstate are making the trip south to attend!
There will be an informal social dinner on the Sunday before the event starts.
If you want to enjoy New Years Eve fireworks there's a display on the lake in front of the Yacht Club
This regatta will cater for all levels of ability so don’t be daunted if you haven’t raced before or for a while! Wētās are a fun boat and the people sailing them enjoy the experience. You will be very welcome to join us at any stage over the 6-day long event. If you’re not sure about racing, you are still very welcome to come along at any time to meet your fellow Wētā owners! Race is currently scheduled for the afternoons so we will have some chance to chat, compare boats or to tryouts in the mornings.
